Florido said, “The Family Tourism Award recognizes us as an excellent destination that adapts to the needs and desires of family tourism. We know that traveling as a family requires extra planning in terms of bookings and finding leisure activities. That’s why we empathize and work towards a destination of excellence that offers solutions.

Malaga becomes the first city in Andalusia to win the prize in the category of urban destinations, one of the four recognized destination categories.

This means that Malaga continues its journey as the preeminent tourist destination in Andalucia, and is well on its way to rivaling Barcelona and Madrid at national level.
